Is Open office a good program for wedding planning?

Just wanted to know if openoffice.org was a good program to help with wedding planning and if so, how?

Open Office does pretty much everything Microsoft Office does, so yeah.

You could plan it with a spreadsheet in Calc, or make a slideshow in Impress or however you want to do it.

*EDIT* Found an Excel wedding planner template that you can use in OpenOffice Calc:

You should also try SSuite Office for a free planning software. They have a whole range of software and office suites that are free for download. They also have a "Year and Day planner" that is very easy to use and very small to download.

Their software also don’t need to run on Java or .NET, like so many open source office suites, so it makes their software very small and efficient.
